about iconhub

hi, i am harsh and i built iconhub as a learning project.

i wanted to understand how app icons are designed and how colors work together. this site looks at many app logos and breaks down their colors, brightness and saturation. it then finds similar logos so you can see patterns and get ideas quickly.

why i built this

i built this to learn. i was curious about color analysis, search and recommendations and wanted to try building something real around it.

what i practiced

  • design and layout with real data
  • code for search, filters and color distance
  • making data simple and useful for others

what i learned

building with real logos taught me how small color choices change the feel of a brand. it also showed me how to keep the interface clean while showing rich details.

credit and ownership

i did not design any of these logos and i do not claim to own them. all logos and brand marks belong to their original owners and teams. i am not reusing them as my own work. they are shown here only for study and analysis.

how the data is used

  • only for analysis of colors and style
  • only to provide recommendations and similar results
  • not for resale or as a template pack

how it can help designers

if you are a designer, you can use iconhub to explore color palettes, compare styles and find inspiration for your next project.

ways to use it

  • browse by dominant color and color family
  • compare brightness and saturation groups
  • check similar logos to see trends in your app group
  • copy hex values and build moodboards faster

the goal is to make research faster and more fun.

a small promise

this is a non commercial project. there are no ads, no paid plans and no monetization of any kind. i built it to learn, to share, and to make something useful for the design community.

about me

i am harsh. i enjoy building small tools that help people learn and create. this site is part of that effort.

thanks for checking it out. if you have feedback, i would love to hear it.
